With default settings, the Translator stores form instances (forms that an end-user is interacting with) in memory and to the database. Temporary cached form data is stored on disk within the File Cache.
The File Cache can be shared to facilitate remote printing in PNG and GIF formats, but is not required to be shared for PDF remote printing.
Failover is supported between multiple instances of the Translator using the database. If one translator instance or server fails, another instance of server can continue the user session by accessing the data from the database.
